This week being the first week of the course I feel I learned a lot and really enjoyed myself. I enjoyed learning a lot lots of things like
  • How to use Blogger for school
  • How to make a floor plan on Google Sketch Up
  • How to make a 3D modle of a house or building
Overall this week I enjoyed aswell as learning alot and am looking forard to learning more

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Week 2
This week was very interesting and fun as I got to learn new skills like how to use our manual drawing kits to create a phone then scale it up in google sketchup. this week we also learned :

  • How to scale up a 2d drawing on sketchup
  • using the paint feature on sketchup
  • learning to use manual drawing set and triangle grid paper
  • ----------------------------------------------------------------------------Week 3
This week we learned about the future job opportunities that can be offered  through the shsm seals that Saint John's offers aswell as the FIT certification in information communication technology and I have decided to persue a shsm and possibly FIT we also learned the begging of CAD by drawing 3
squares

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Week 4

This week was fun new but a little challenging as we moved labs and had to learn a whole new program called cad 2007 LT and learned how to input coordinates in relative absolute and polar ways to create a some basic cubes a plane and a car sadly I didn't have time to get to creating the car yet as I was gone for a day of C.A.D.On the upside I did enjoy having fun and creating a phone using C.A.D

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WEEK 5
this week was fun but sort of redundant as we are still using cad 2007 lt but are told of the plan for the rest of the year and about our focus groups and boogie board projects to come at the end of the month or so

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ WEEK 6
This week was fun and exiting as we got to put all the stuff we learned on cad to the test in a final drawing which at first was difficult as i could not figure out one angle and side length but once figured out became fairly easy and actually fun seeing how much I have learned so far

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ WEEK 7
This week we started using envisioner six and got to design houses by tutorial and by our own design in 3d and thoughts we also got to design things like our own landscaping however my one was stuck in 2d and wouldn't scale up un 3d

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WEEK 8
This week we worked on a career presentation and then presented it mine was on the carrer of a robotic engineer and my partneer was Jordan. The projects were done well and showed me a few job opprotunities that were appealing to me.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WEEK 9
This week was good because we got to start using inventor while some of the class used enisioner to create houses and stuff. in inventor it is similar to CAD that we used but easier and more fluid to get things done. Also it is good to scale things into 3D

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WEEK 10
This week we are still using inventor and are teaching ourselfs and using tutorials to further our learning and knowledge of inventor this week we got to put our drawings from tutorials onto proper title blocks shown to us by other tutorials

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WEEK 11
This week we are still using inventor doing tutorials and making things like tool post holder and Draw Bolts and we are sopposed to learn how to constrain parts which is like putting multiple ones together and have them interact

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WEEK 12
This week we are yet again using inventor but we have the freedom to draw our own simple whatever its open to us so i am thinking im going to design a ring that holds the worlds smallest usb 3.0

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Week13
This week we got to start actually start our project and I am designing a usb ring and am almost finished as i drew parrt by hand
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Week 14
this week we finished our design and put dimensions on our design and learned how to cross section through an on-line tutorial given to us
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Week 15
This week we got to go to London and watch cardboard boat races to get ideas and compete next year we also kept using inventor and doing different tutorials to learn new skills
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Week 16
This week we continued inventor and are going to the construction shop soon to create a book or cd holder out of wood
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Week 17
This week we continued inventor and we got to make a virtual recreation of a book holder and then got to teach everone else how to make it
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Week 18
This week we got to go to the construction shop and make the book holder out of woodand cut and drilll all the parts and then stain the wood after asembled
